About Care and Intervention

Case Managers

As part of the MSU community, we all experience hurdles and challenges to academics, work and life. Non-clinical case management support consists of providing guidance to an individual, helping reduce barriers to success and well-being. Non-clinical case managers guide referred individuals toward campus and community resources, empowering them to become self-advocates and care for their overall well-being.

The goals of the case management team:

  • Advocate and empower individuals who are faced with challenges during their time at MSU to help them address barriers to their well-being and success.
  • Provide support, guidance and resources to both referred individuals and those who are referring someone.
  • Identify, assess and intervene with individuals who demonstrate behavioral concerns.
  • Provide a safe and supportive physical and emotional environment for members of the university community.
